Death By Chocolate
College Avenue, February 14 (Valentine's Day)
Downtown Appleton becomes a dessert-lovers' paradise as local restaurants feature their tasty chocolate treats.   Be sure to vote for your favorite treat!

Downtown Appleton Farm Market
Inside City Center...Every Saturday, November, 2014-May  2015, 9am-12:30pm
The Downtown Appleton Farm Market continues throughout the winter. Fresh produce, meats & poultry, breads & baked goods, dairy products, homemade soup & dip mixes, quality handcrafted items, jewelry, rugs, and much more Including gluten free items. PLUS, enjoy the local restaurants, retail stores, the Building for Kids Children's Museum and all that Downtown Appleton has to offer!

Mini Golf On The Town
College Avenue, April 11, 2015
Play a hole of mini-golf at a variety of Downtown bars and when you've completed 9 holes, gather at the "19th Hole" for a fun party and prizes!  Team costumes, drink specials, and fun are all par for the course!

Downtown Appleton Giving Hope
Downtown May 1-9, 2015
A percentage of proceeds from sales by businesses displaying Giving Hope signs will be donated to the American Cancer Society in support of Cancer programs and research. Enjoy all that Downtown Appleton has to offer while buying local and supporting a great cause.

Art On The Town
Third Friday of the month: May - September; 6- 9pm  
Downtown Appleton's art museum, galleries, studios and stores open their doors to allow the public to experience their favorite or brand-new form of art! Take this art walk and enjoy numerous venues featuring a variety of artist displays, demonstrations, live music and refreshments. Look for the bright yellow banners!

Memorial Day Parade

Summer Tee Off Golf Outing    A Taste Of Downtown!

Heid Music Summer Concert Series

Running Thursday - Saturday, it's the perfect way to get around Downtown and to our beautiful Riverfront. Take the trolley to enjoy the sights, sounds and delicious smells of our great area.

Flag Day Parade
College Avenue, June 13, 2015 at 2 pm
Come enjoy the United States' oldest Flag Day Parade as we celebrate America with bands, floats and other displays. The Appleton parade route starts at Oneida Street on Wisconsin Avenue and heads west to State Street then south to College Avenue.  It continues east and then turns north on Drew Street to the City Park.

Downtown Appleton Farm Market
Outside on College Avenue...Every Saturday, June 20-October 31, 2015; 8:00 am-12:30 pm
Experience the area's largest Farm Market with more than 150 vendors selling fresh produce and flowers, exotic meats and cheeses, breads and baked goods, specialty foods and handcrafted items along with live music!

Children's Parade, a program of The Building For Kids
College Avenue, Wednesday, July 22, 2015; 6:00 pm
Celebrate summer by participating in this favorite family activity - the Downtown Appleton Children's Parade. Everyone is welcome to attend. Register at buildingforkids.org

Art At The Park, a program of The Trout Museum of Art
City Park, July 26, 2015; 9 am-4:30 pm
Check out artists' wares, grab a bite to eat or just sit back and relax to the music during Appleton's premier arts and entertainment festival held in and around City Park.

License To Cruise & Octoberfest, a program of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce
College Avenue, September 25 & 26, 2015
Two separate events on two different days that add up to a weekend of great fun! License to Cruise kicks off on Friday night when hundreds of classic cars line The Avenue. On Saturday, Octoberfest - Appleton's biggest festival - draws 100,000+ people Downtown to enjoy live music, arts and crafts, a family fun activities area and tons of mouth-watering festival food and beverage items.

7th Annual Soup Walk
College Avenue, Saturday, October 17, 2015; 1-4:30pm
Enjoy this annual event featuring Downtown restaurants and their best soups! Try a taste at each of the different venues and vote for your favorite at participating retailers. Retailers are also collecting canned goods to donate to the St. Joseph Food Program.  Tickets go on sale Oct. 1 for just $20 each, but quantities are limited.

Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade
College Avenue, November 24, 2015 - 7:00 pm
Head to Downtown Appleton to continue your celebration of the holidays with the largest night-time parade in Wisconsin featuring bands, floats, local groups and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus himself.

Small Business Saturday
College Avenue, November 28, 2015 all day!
Pick up a Passport and have it stamped at businesses as you enjoy shopping in the unique clothing boutiques, great gourmet coffee shops, a huge variety of places to eat and fun entertainment options. Lots of special offers, refreshments and the opportunity to win gift certificates!

Holiday Fun Fest
Houdini Plaza & College Avenue, Dec. 19
Enjoy fun for the whole family featuring ice carving demonstrations, live music, visits with Santa & his reindeer, horse drawn carriage rides, refreshments and more in Houdini Plaza.  Plus ice carvings along College Avenue all day!
