Progressive Appleton: Through the Lens of W.D. Schlafer
at the History Museum at the Castle Nov. 15 - 2012
Featuring Appleton's evolution from a fledgling
manufacturing town to a modern industrial center. Through a
collection of 3,000 photographs, visitors will see how much
Appleton and the Fox Cities evolved as new technologies and ideas
changed the lives of area residents during this transformative
period 1850-1920. ($)
Eat Well, Play Well Traveling Exhibit at The Building

Focused on health, nutrition and exercise this interactive exhibit

Art of Sir Winston Churchill at The Trout Museum of Art
April 13 - July 29, 2012:
Featuring works of art (including paintings, photographs,
etchings & sculpture) depicting Winston Churchill by
artists who captured the likeness of one of the greatest figures of
the 20th century. Several of these works have never been exhibited
in the United States. Also included will be work by Sir Winston and
other "pastime painters" who served in World War II.
